An innovative, specialised cape designed for people using traditional wheelchairs. Thanks to its innovative design and the materials used, it provides complete protection against moisture and wind when moving outdoors. Put on over the head, it has features and conveniences that allow it to be adjusted to the user's individual preferences. An adjustable hood, a stand-up collar with hook-and-loop fastening and cuffs in the sleeves protect against water. A special reflective tape has been used to increase visibility at night. Fully covers a person using a classic wheelchair; the length at the front allows the feet to be covered, with additional elastic in a channel for circumference adjustment and the option of hooking the bottom of the cape onto the wheelchair footrest; press studs on the sides of the long front allow the material to be fastened up, e.g. to knee height – this feature is intended for people who use a wheelchair but can also walk on crutches, or for people who transfer from the wheelchair to a car on their own; under the long front of the cape there are adjustable elastics with buckles so that the cape can be fastened under the knees of the person sitting in the wheelchair; the back of the cape has flap-covered openings for the wheelchair push handles and a single reflective strip for better visibility after dark; the cape is fastened with a zip covered by a placket with hook-and-loop fastening. The zip opens to halfway down the cape; below the zip at the front, a pocket for storing e.g. a phone or other small items; hood with a small peak and hook-and-loop adjustment at the back of the hood, plus elastic cords with stoppers at the front; stand-up collar with hook-and-loop fastening; cuffs in the sleeves (elastic in a channel). Material Plavitex Eco - a material on a 100% recycled polyester backing, coated on one side with PVC, free from banned plasticisers - phthalates. Its components meet the requirements for harmlessness to users and environmental protection. The material contains none of the banned dyes, its pH value is within the range neutral to the user's skin and it does not cause allergic reactions.
