X3 ear muffs are light, streamlined and reduce noise by up to 33 dB. The double electrically insulated headband design limits heat build-up on top of the head, and the plastic-coated stainless steel wire makes the headband the strongest in the 3M range. These ear muffs are durable and comfortable, as the wide, flat headband has a soft plastic padding that provides stable pressure on the crown of the head. The product is "dielectric" because no metal is exposed, which provides electrical resistance for applications that pose a risk of sparking or arcing. Carefully shaped sliders allow easy adjustment of these ear muffs once they are on the head. Large, soft foam ear cushions ensure working comfort.
