The neckband ear muffs Peltor OPTIME III are designed for protection against very high noise levels occurring e.g. at airports, in mines, ship engine rooms and the power industry. The design of the OPTIME III ear muffs is based on double-shell technology, which minimises resonance in the cup housing. This provides maximum attenuation of high-frequency sounds while still allowing conversation and commands to be understood. An acoustic connection between the inner space and the space between the shells in turn provides maximum attenuation at low frequencies. The sealing rings are wide and filled with soft foam, so they do not press excessively and can be fitted precisely. Stepless adjustment makes it easy to fit the shape of the head precisely. The neckband ear muffs can be used together with visors, welding shields, safety helmets and other protective equipment.
