The padded tongue and ankle collar prevent the shoes from chafing. Inside, laminated breathable MESH material and a removable BASIC insole increase wearing comfort so the feet do not tire. Water impermeability is provided by the HYDROGUARD membrane. Polyurethane reinforcement of the heel and toe tips. Bonded phylon and rubber sole. Phylon provides excellent cushioning; the outer rubber layer increases grip on wet surfaces. Fastening with laces threaded through metal eyelets.
