The XR 250 FFP2 NR filtering half mask is a non-sterile disposable medical device, type II R. It complies with the requirements of EN 14683:2019 with limited wearing time, up to a maximum of 8 hours. It has a bacterial filtration efficiency (BFE) of ? 98,0 %. The half mask is approved for use in medical environments where there is a risk of splashes of body fluids. The XR 250 FFP2 NR filtering half mask is also Category III personal protective equipment and complies with the requirements of EN 149:2001+A1:2009. PRZEZNACZENIE: The XR 250 FFP2 NR filtering half mask is intended for protection in places exposed to contact with infectious, contagious material where there is a risk of splashes of body fluids. It covers the mouth, nose and chin. The product forms a barrier limiting the transmission of infectious agents and protects the respiratory tract. It prevents the spread of airborne microorganisms, reducing the risk of infection by medical staff. Its use ensures sterile treatment conditions and protects the patient against viruses/bacteria, e.g. during medical procedures. The XR 250 FFP2 NR filtering half mask is also intended for use by medical staff and patients when exposed to blood and other potentially infectious body fluids. It is also used for respiratory protection against solid particle aerosols, water-based aerosols (dust, smoke) and aerosols with a liquid dispersed phase (mists) for which the OEL is ?0,05 mg/m3, provided that the concentration of the dispersed phase does not exceed 10 x OEL (Occupational Exposure Limit). CHARAKTERYSTYKA: The XR 250 FFP2 NR filtering half mask consists of: a cup made of multi-layer filter material: polypropylene; a nose clip made of polypropylene tape reinforced with two steel wires; ear straps for securing the half mask made of latex-free threads braided with polyester silk; the product comes in two colour versions: white or black.
