They are intended for respiratory protection - when assembled with a half mask/mask with a plug-in (bayonet) connector-adapter or a gas filter matching the shape and dimensions of the filter - against solid particle aerosols or water-based aerosols (dust, smoke) and aerosols with a liquid dispersed phase (mists), provided that the concentration of the dispersed phase of the aerosol does not exceed 12 x OEL. The filters can be used directly with gas filters (plastic covers are required to connect the filters correctly to the facepiece). Alternatively, the filters can be used on their own (without gas filters) with special plug-in connectors - filter adapters for connecting to the facepiece. In this case too, the plastic covers required for correct fitting of the filters to the facepiece must be used.
