Gas filters (TYPE ABEK) protect against the following types of gases: TYPE A- organic gases and vapours, e.g.: solvents with a boiling point above +65°C at a volume concentration in air ?0.1% (1,000 ppm) TYPE B- inorganic gases and vapours, e.g. chlorine and hydrogen sulphide TYPE E- acid gases and vapours at a volume concentration in air ?0.1% (1,000 ppm), e.g. sulphur dioxide TYPE K- ammonia and organic ammonia derivatives at a volume concentration in air ?0.1% (1,000 ppm) Protection class 1P3 is intended for protection against: organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65°C at a volume concentration in air ?0.1% (1.000 ppm) - highly toxic solid and liquid particles for which OEL<0.05mg/m3.
