OPIS PRODUKTU Men's welding jacket MOFOS/ CXS meets the standards EN 13688 (Protective clothing - general requirements), EN 11611 (Protective clothing for use in welding and allied processes) Class 1+A1/A2 (Protection during welding work involving a lower level of hazard and a lower risk of sparks and heat flows). The jacket is made of MOFOS fabric, 390g/m2, material composition: 100% cotton, durable flame-retardant structure. The welding jacket is intended for use as an outer garment worn over clothing. The clothing protects against less hazardous welding techniques and situations that cause lower levels of molten metal spatter and radiant heat, against brief contact with flame and radiant heat from the electric arc used in welding. It also provides protection against brief accidental contact with live electrical conductors at DC voltages up to about 100V. Where there is an increased risk of electric shock, additional electrically insulating layers will be needed. The jacket features: button fastening concealed by a placket, left chest pocket with hook-and-loop closure, button for adjusting the sleeve cuff, reinforced double elbows. To extend the service life of MOFOS clothing, it is recommended to also use protective leather welding accessories such as: apron, gaiters, sleeve protectors. Recommended use: welders, construction, foundries, work with flammable materials, soldering.
